We have opinions about friendship.

KitKit is designed around them.

Who you keep close.

The circle stays deliberate, and every connection is mutual.

Why is my circle so limited?

We believeclose friendship needs attention.

You can know many people, but only a few can be part of your life in a deep, ongoing way. The circle stays small so it remains about the people you are choosing to keep close, not everyone you know.

Why can't I add friends who aren't on KitKit?

We believefriendship is a choice both people keep making.

Adding someone to your circle is not the same as following them. They have to choose you too. Both of you join KitKit and agree to the connection because staying close only works when both people want to show up.

How KitCalls work.

Voice, mystery, and a short limit all make starting easier.

Two friends on a call with each other, each at home with a mug nearby.

Why doesn't KitKit have text messages?

We believefriendship needs presence.

Text is useful, but it lets a conversation stretch across hours or days while both people are somewhere else. KitKit uses voice because you hear the laugh, the pause, and the feeling that text often leaves out. For a few minutes, you are both there.

Why are KitCalls a mystery?

We believehearing from a friend should feel exciting.

Everyone who can call is someone you chose. Hiding the name gives you a moment to wonder which friend is about to show up. The mystery makes the call feel like a surprise from someone you already want to hear from.

Why are KitCalls so short?

We believegood friends still need help finding the moment.

A short call is easier to answer because neither of you is committing to a long conversation. Its job is to put two people who care about each other in the same moment again. From there, you can schedule a longer call, move to whatever you normally use, or make plans to meet. A KitCall is the beginning, not the whole conversation.

If these principles feel right to you, try KitKit.
