Terms of use
These terms cover the KitKit mobile app, website, and waitlist. By using KitKit, you agree to them.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use the KitKit mobile app, create an account, or join the waitlist. KitKit is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. If you are at least 13 but under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use KitKit only with any permission from a parent or legal guardian required by local law. If we learn that someone under 13 created an account or joined the waitlist, we will close the account or remove the waitlist entry and delete the associated personal information, except where retention is required by law.
Your account
Give us accurate account information, keep your sign-in details private, and tell us if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you report a problem.
Friends, calls, and consent
Add or invite only people you know and have a legitimate reason to contact. Respect a friend's decision not to accept, answer, or continue a call. Do not record or share a conversation without every participant's permission and any consent required by law.
Acceptable use
Do not harass people, impersonate someone else, submit another person's information without permission, interfere with KitKit, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity. Do not use sexually explicit or otherwise harmful images as profile photos.
Your content
You keep responsibility for names, photos, notes, and other information you add. You give KitKit permission to process that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
Optional ads and paid features
KitKit may offer optional advertising or paid features. We will show any price, renewal terms, and material restrictions before purchase. App-store purchases are also subject to the store's payment terms. Except where law requires otherwise, charges are non-refundable. Watching an optional ad is not required to use KitKit's core friendship and calling features.
Availability and changes
KitKit is provided as available. Calls depend on devices, networks, notification systems, and third-party services outside our control. We may change, limit, suspend, or stop features while the product is being built and maintained.
KitKit content
KitKit owns or licenses the app, website, software, brand, and related content. These terms do not give you ownership of them or permission to misuse the KitKit name or marks.
Ending use
You can stop using KitKit and delete your account. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or legal rights. Account deletion is described on the account deletion page.
Website and waitlist
Do not misuse the site or submit someone else's email without permission. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, a release date, or any particular feature.
No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KitKit is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that the service will always be available, secure, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KitKit and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the service. Our total liability for a claim relating to KitKit will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid KitKit during the 12 months before the claim or US $100. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them, including liability that cannot legally be limited.
Your responsibility for claims
To the extent permitted by law, you will reimburse KitKit and its operator for reasonable losses and costs caused by your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your material breach of these terms. This does not require you to cover losses caused by KitKit's own conduct.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as KitKit changes. We will post the revised terms and update the date below. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice in the app, by email, or through the website when required. Continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using KitKit and delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere or have local law apply. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.
General terms
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our permission. We may transfer these terms as part of a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of KitKit, subject to applicable law.
